CRITICAL CARE UNIT

CCU RN

Benefit eligible, 36 hours per week position on the night shift. Responsible for direct total nursing care of patients including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation within the policies and procedures standard in the Critical Care Unit.  The CCU RN will plan and deliver care for acute adult and geriatric medical and surgical patients, coronary patients, and in rare cases, infant, pediatric and adolescent patients.  The CCU RN will provide after hours post-anesthesia recovery care.  The CCU RN will maintain skills in detection and management of all aspects of intensive care, including use of specialized equipment and procedures. Current licensure.  CPR, ACLS, PALS required.   The ability to work independently, prioritize, multi task is necessary.  Previous CCU experience is preferred. 5/7/14

36 hours a week, benefit eligible position, 24 hrs ED & 12 hrs either ED or CCU, 7p - 7a shift. Includes every other weekend & rotating holidays. Experienced Emergency Department RN plus extensive critical care experience. Responsible for nursing care to patients of all ages within the Emergency Department.  This includes assessment, planning, implementation. ESI 5-level triage experience. Must be comfortable working in each unit independently. BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC.  ENPC and CEN and/or CPEN preferred.
