Demolition Work To Begin On Monday |

Demolition work is slated to begin on Monday, Aug. 15, at the former Cadillac Inn between Livingston Road and Oliver Street.
MDI Hospital Physical Plant and Nutrition Services Director Greg Corrow reports that a portion of the inn building will remain and be used for short term housing. The home on the parcel will house MDI Hospital’s Human Resources Department. According to Corrow,“The demolition work is expected to last five to seven days. This project will include replacing the sidewalk on Livingston Road and installing extensive landscaping.” As a result of generous donor support, MDI Hospital acquired the Cadillac Motor Inn and Cadillac Medical Building. The use of these properties, along with the Maine Street Motel property that is also hospital owned, is being determined in the master planning process. |
