Vince Messer was involved in learning and organizational development for non-profits and service organizations throughout his career.
After teaching for several years, he left public education to work at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in training and development, and eventually directed the organization’s entire training function. Vince also led the development of a centralized function for learning, staff development and organizational development for American Red Cross staff and volunteers nationwide. In 2002, he started an independent consulting practice which he continues to operate on a part-time basis.
Vince has been a year-round MDI resident since 2008. In addition to his work with MDI Hospital, Vince also serves on the Board of Healthy Acadia.
