Ben came to MDI Hospital in 2016 from The Jackson Laboratory. With 17 years of experience in Human Resources, Ben describes being an HR professional as like being a bartender, ”people (employees) come to you with their problems, and it’s up to HR to help fix, learn, and grow from them”. There is no other department in an organization with such a wide berth. HR, is involved in all levels of an organization top to bottom, and in every function of the company.

When Ben was asked what he most enjoys about working at MDI Hospital, he said, “It’s the genuine kindness of the employees and the sense of belonging you feel from the first day you step through the door.”

When not at work, Ben enjoys running, CrossFit, going on adventures with his wife, brewing beer and spending time with friends around a fire.
