Expert, Compassionate Patient Care
MDI Hospital and our network of health centers are our community’s frontline, offering access to advanced, patient-centered care where they feel most at home. We provide critical emergency and trauma care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 a year to our robust population of year-round residents, seasonal residents and visitors. We operate six primary care facilities in Bar Harbor, Northeast Harbor, Southwest Harbor and Trenton. Our specialty facilities include the Island’s only nonprofit dental clinic, a nationally recognized breast health center, our region’s only full-service behavioral health center and a vibrant retirement community.
