After joining our team in March 2024 as the Director of Quality, Patient Experience, and Patient Safety, Casey oversees the organization’s quality processes including patient safety and patient experience. Part of Casey’s role is reviewing feedback from surveys sent to patients and creating initiatives to improve our patients experience with us. Casey’s team uses data collected from the hospital and health centers using a variety of different methods and metrics to implement improvement plans in order to strive to provide compassionate care and strengthen the health of the MDI community. Casey’s background is in Infectious Diseases and got her start in healthcare quality as the Infection Preventionist at Southern Maine Health Care where she worked before coming to MDI Hospital. Casey’s favorite part of this role is working with interdisciplinary teams to strengthen and ensure we provide the highest quality of care.
Outside of work, Casey enjoys spending time with her husband and three dogs.
