Dr. Damian Flowers is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with 16 years of experience in provision of emergency care in multiple emergency departments and trauma centers. Dr. Flowers earned his medical degree from Oregon Health and Sciences University (2006) and completed the Integrated Residency of Emergency and Traumatology at University of Connecticut (2009).
Dr. Flowers is the recipient of the Robert Wood Johnson Grant and the prestigious Arthur P. Gold Foundation “Humanism in Medicine Award” (2006) for political and patient advocacy. He is an active member of ACEP, AAEM and STIPDA.
What was initially a pre-COVID temporary summer assignment at MDI Hospital’s ER, has evolved into respect, love, and reverent purpose in caring for this wonderful island community. Outside of work, Dr. Flowers enjoys spending time with family, beachcombing, stargazing, and surfing every possible coastline.
