Care Philosophy: Practice through education and shared decision making

Dr. Weinstein is a Maine native, growing up in Old Orchard. He fell in love with Mount Desert Island the first time he visited and knew he always wanted to work in a rural area.

Dr. Weinstein provides care at the Trenton Health Center and is one of the only Aviation Medical Examiners (AME) in the local Hancock county area. As an FAA certified AME, Dr. Julian Weinstein is certified to perform required flight physicals for those seeking aviation based examinations to obtain or maintain class II and/or class III medical fitness certifications.

Outside of work, he enjoys rock climbing, aviation, cooking and brewing his own beer. Dr. Weinstein is also a Certified Flight Instructor and was a former Chief Resident.
