Dr. Kandutsch specializes in family medicine. His medical interests include orthopedic and sports medicine. “I’m fascinated by this field, which is focused on non-surgical treatment for musculoskeletal problems and includes regenerative injections, ultrasound guided procedures and rehab,” he says. Dr. Kandutsch is certified in regenerative injection therapies including platelet-rich plasma therapy and prolotherapy.

Dr. Kandutsch grew up in Bar Harbor. His parents first came to the island in 1954 to start careers at the Jackson Laboratory. Outside of work he enjoys natural science, art, outdoor sports and building and inventing mechanical projects.
