Native to Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island, Molly Moon joined MDI Hospital in 2019. She studied at the University of Maine at Orono where she earned her M.S. in Human Development and B.S in Family Relations. In 2020, she joined the Advancement Team to pursue advocacy opportunities to champion coastal Maine and island communities.

With a background in human studies, as well as rich relational ties to her home here on Mount Desert Island, Molly presents a unique vantage point to understanding, and caring for, the residents of MDI and the surrounding communities. She generates connectivity and creatively seeks new ways to bridge groups together to optimize mutualization.

In her spare time, Molly enjoys playing music around the local communities – find her singing in her cover band, “Quiet For Sue”! She also enjoys spending time outdoors.
