Adventure Mini-Golf Challenge

Thank you to the MDI Rotary, our generous sponsors, and everyone who came out to play and support the 19th Annual MDI Rotary Adventure Mini Golf Challenge on May 18, 2024.  We are honored to once again be the beneficiary of this event, which successfully raised $5,500 benefitting the MDI Hospital Oncology Department.  We could not have done this without your support – thank you!

The MDI Rotary Adventure Mini Golf Challenge first began when a local Rotarian was diagnosed with cancer and the group wanted to raise funds to help their friend. It was such a success that they decided to make it an annual event, focusing on cancer related causes such as the Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center, Island Connections, and Sarah’s House of Maine.

The oncology services provided at the Island Infusion Center at MDI Hospital are the result of a partnership between MDI Hospital and Eastern Maine Medical Center’s Cancer Care of Maine program. This collaboration ensures sophisticated, high-quality cancer care close to home, saving patients from the inconvenience of traveling far for treatment. The proceeds from this event will fund the purchase of updated equipment, as well as provide much needed support services to our patients and their families, such as gas and grocery gift cards.

Your generous support of MDI Hospital allows us to continue to provide local, compassionate care to our friends and neighbors when they need it most and for that, we are so grateful.
