MDI Hospital Volunteer Program: Electronic Onboarding
Please follow the instructions below to complete all required paperwork prior to beginning your volunteer experience with us.

Onboarding Process:
Step 1: Apply and interview with the Advancement Department and intended department of volunteering.
Step 2: Complete onboarding requirements. Upon agreement (from the Advancement Department and intended department of volunteering) to hire, receive password to complete required online forms and modules and health screenings. Complete online forms and modules and send in your health screening forms to the Advancement Department. (The TB screening is free of cost for volunteers and can be completed at the main hospital. For your TB screening, please alert the staff that you are a volunteer to receive it free of cost.)
Step 3: If you have not already submitted a headshot style photo of self for your ID badge, please also do so. Await approval of submitted online forms, modules, and health screenings.
Step 4: Receive first-day onboarding instructions and appear for first-day of volunteering. Receive on this day your ID badge!
*Now that you have completed the onboarding process, the employee store is open to you to purchase MDI Hospital & MDI Hospital Volunteer wear from! If you are interested, please inquire for more information.

After submission, responses will be reviewed by Human Resources
and a representative will be in touch about your next steps.

Please submit a Headshot Style Photo of yourself in JPEG, PNG, or PDF format.
(Low quality, grainy, and small images will not be accepted.)

After submission, responses by Employee Health
and a representative will be in touch about your next steps.

returned to your supervisor.*

Instructions:
Compliance modules are assigned to all on-site and off-site MDIH/BBRV & contracted employees, students, volunteers, and interns. Below are directions on how to log in to Elsevier. Your Login is your Contracted Employee Number (please wait to receive this number from HR via email), and the first-time password is “hello” (all lower caps). You will then be prompted to create a new password.
Please complete the modules below on or before your first day. The remainder modules will need to be completed by 10/31/24.
